Thanks again to Derrick from Kafabee for editing and producing this web series for us. And for everything else he does (possibly including a music vid for From Our Eyes in the next couple months)

Speaking of Music Videos, we did recently work with Travis Smith from Boka Studios again to shoot a video for Faces. It involved a lot of terrorizing the streets of Ann Arbor and Jamming out in our practice area. We will share that with you guys as soon as we can.

Also, Be on the lookout for our interview with Megan from Kzoo Music Scene to be posted someday soon. And don’t forget about our upcoming show March 10th at the Howell Opera House.

We start recording this upcoming weekend and we will be busy shooting a ton more video for the web-series.. So stay tuned!

We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. Some big things will be happening for us this year. For starters: we’re signed!

A Hero Falls has been added to the 2012 roster of Brawl Records! Brawl Records is a indie label from Ann Arbor. They specialize in promotion, artist management, booking, merch, and other services. You can check them out at https://www.facebook.com/brawlrecords We will be one of roughly 10-12 other bands from around the country on the label this year.

Since we are a mostly DIY band, we hope that our relationship with Brawl will lead to bigger shows, touring, and maybe even a bigger label.

In other news:

We will be heading back into Minx Recording Studio February 18th to start recording our full length CD! We are very excited because we will be having Mat Halliday produce us this time.

Brawl Records has put us on a compilation CD that is being handed out at the I See Stars show January 29th at The Loft.

We plan on getting some new merch like a new shirt design, and some bracelets and stuff.

The Cardinal Radio BOTB at SVSU was rescheduled to February 17th.

Fusion Shows has booked us for January 21st at The Great Escape w/Claremont and Apathetic Critic.

And we are doing really well on Radio-Opie’s People’s Choice Countdown. So keep those votes coming.

The release show at The Howell Opera House was awesome. Claremont’s new album sounds great. They also recorded with Mat Halliday at The Minx (studiominx.com). Sunday we played at The Crofoot which was by far our best show to date. The Dandelion Brigade and A Day’s Ride killed it.

Travis Smith from Boka Studios (travissmithphoto.com) and (bokastudios.com) showed up to take some shots of the bands. He is a super nice guy. We’re looking forward to working with him again soon. If you need anything from wedding photos, senior pictures, band promos, to corporate and editorial work, then go check him out. And check out the work he did for Koji.

Also, I’m very excited to say that our band has our very first Gif.. of Bud and I (Ryan) doing a duel solo at The Crofoot: (RyBudGif)

We are still waiting on details for the Cardinal Radio BOTB at Saginaw Valley State University January 20th. We will keep you posted.

And in other news, we have been helping to promote the record label Brawl Records These guys are an up and coming label from the Ann Arbor area. So keep an eye out for them. and Kzoo Music Scene a resource for musicians and venues to promote the local music scene.

Anyway, We have a lot of stuff coming up, but not a lot of details. We have a radio interview on December 8th on The Basement – Impact 89FM! around 8pm. Then on Dec 10th we’re playing the Howell Opera House to support Claremont for their CD release. We can’t wait to hear their new material. And on Dec 11th we will be back at The Crofoot in Pontiac to play a show with Embers and Empathy (or maybe Embers and Apathy?) either way, should be a good time. We also recently confirmed that we’ll be playing a BOTB hosted by Cardinal Radio station out of Saginaw Valley State University which will be January 20th. We have tickets for the December shows already so please get ahold of us if you need them.

We do have enough material now for another EP, but we are set on doing a full length CD for our next release. So, we will have a ton of new songs to unveil at our shows but it will be a few months before we’re ready to go back to the studio.
